1. Preparation
Clean Your Nails: Wash your hands and wipe each nail with an alcohol pad or nail cleanser to remove any oils.
Gently push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher.Push Back Cuticles
Lightly buff the surface of each nail to create a rough texture for better adhesion.
Trim and shape your natural nails if needed.
2. Refine the Nail Shape (Optional)
If necessary, file and shape the edges of the nail tip to achieve your desired look.
3. Apply the UV Gel Glue
Apply a small dot of UV gel glue to the back of the nail tip or on your natural nail (depending on the method).
Spread the glue evenly across the area where the nail tip will make contact with your natural nail. Avoid overusing glue to prevent spillage.
4. Attach the Nail Tip
Align the nail tip with your natural nail and press down firmly to secure it in place.
Place your nail under the UV lamp and cure according to the UV gel glue’s instructions (usually around 30-60 seconds) until the glue hardens and secures the tip.
5. Finish Up
Use a cotton pad with alcohol to remove any tacky layer left from the curing process.
Massage cuticle oil around your nail beds to keep them hydrated and healthy.
This method with UV gel glue will secure your nail tips for a durable and long-lasting look. (If applied successfully, can last 3 weeks to a month)
